Summary
IPTV Player does not collect, store or sell any personal data. The developer has no servers and receives nothing from the app. There are no ads, analytics or tracking.
Data stored on your device
Your playlists, favorites, categories, screenshots, settings and any API keys or sign-ins you enter stay on your device. Keys and passwords are kept in the system Keychain. Deleting the app deletes this data.
Services the app contacts for you
Only when you use the related feature, the app connects directly from your device to:
- Your IPTV provider (the playlist addresses you add): to load lists, guides and streams.
- The Movie Database (TMDB), if you enter a TMDB key: the titles you look up.
- Anthropic (Claude), only after you allow it in the app: one screenshot and the item's name, to identify a movie.
- Trakt, if you sign in: what you watch, to record your viewing history in your Trakt account.
- OpenSubtitles, if you sign in: the title or TMDB ID to search for subtitles, and the subtitle you download.
Each service handles data under its own privacy policy. The app sends nothing to any of them unless you use that feature.
Retention and deletion
The developer keeps no data, so there is nothing to delete on our side. To remove everything from your device, delete the app. To remove data held by Trakt, OpenSubtitles, TMDB or Anthropic, use their own account settings.
Your choices
You can remove API keys, sign out of Trakt and OpenSubtitles, and withdraw permission for AI identification in the app's Settings at any time.
Children
The app is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from anyone.
